Charis has a long-term faithful team of people who volunteer regularly
Charis has a long-term dedicated and faithful team of people who volunteer every week; working directly with women who are in the sex industry.
The frontline volunteers are all over 18 years old and have gone through a long interview process, been trained, and undergone a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
All our volunteers who do frontline work are given regular clinical supervision.
Being a volunteer at Charis has honestly changed me as a person. It is so good to be part of such a dedicated and caring team who really care about each other and the work we do.
Charis is also supported by volunteers in other ways; by people who share their professional skills and help us with design work, consultancy advice and IT.
