Why should I give?

By giving to Charis you are partnering with us to directly support people who are affected by the sex industry.

Charis is funded by donations from individuals, faith groups and businesses.

We have chosen not to apply for or rely on grants so that we are not required to meet other organisations’ outcomes for their funding, nor our work be shaped by them.

This gives us freedom to support the people we work with in a person-centred way and in the most appropriate way for them. It also allows us to be able to be more responsive to the needs we see in the ever-changing sex industry.

To ensure Charis offers good service provision the continuity of funding is vitally important.

Regular giving helps us to plan more effectively for the future.

Charis needs regular funding to enable us to:

Provide consistent one-to-one support and outreach to people in the sex industry
Offer on-going training for our staff and volunteers
Expand our staff team to increase how many people we can support

If you would like to give by cheque please make it payable to "Charis Tiwala" and send it to: Charis Tiwala, Unit 22, 17 Holywell Hill, St. Albans, AL1 1DT.

If you have not donated before, please include your postal address and tell us whether you are eligible for Gift Aid.

If you are eligible for Gift Aid, it would be great if you could complete our Gift Aid form remembering to tick the appropriate Gift Aid declaration and sign and date it.

Then please enclose the form with your cheque or send it back to us via email.
