Charis has a dedicated outreach and support team that consists of trained staff and volunteers who regularly visit women working in the sex industry.

The outreach team is professional, friendly, discreet and supportive.

In their bag the outreach team carry snacks, clothes, toiletries, condoms, safer injecting kits, naloxone, and Chlamydia & Gonorrhoea self-testing kits.

The outreach team visit and offer support to:

• People working on the streets
• People working in saunas/massage parlours/brothels
• People working in Licensed Sexual Entertainment venues
• People working online
• People we know who are in hospital, rehab or prison
• Support people we know who are in court
• Accompany people we know to appointments that they may be worried about
