The challenge asks you to commit to walking 150 kilometres in June. That is 5K a day!
You can split up your 150 kilometres however you like throughout the month, and equally, you can change the challenge to whatever works best for you - make it harder or easier!
Whether you take on a solo challenge, team up with friends or organise a group walk in your local community, you’ll be helping Charis to continue to support women in the sex industry - because everyone deserves to live without the danger of being trafficked or sexually exploited.
It’s free to take part in the Walk 150K in June challenge and easy to sign up:

By fundraising for Charis you are partnering with us to directly support women who are affected by the sex industry and sexual exploitation in Hertfordshire.
The sponsorship money will enable us to continue to provide consistent one-to-one support, run weekly drop-in sessions and group work, and regular evening and daytime outreach.
Over the past year we have seen an increase in women working in the sex industry; due to the social and economic changes more women are having to sell sex in exchange for necessities. This is evident in our figures; the number of women that we are supporting in 2025 has increased by over 100% since 2024.
We are therefore needing to increase our income (by doing fundraising events like Walk 150k in June) to be able to meet the growing need.
There are people of all levels of fitness doing this challenge. The important thing is that you're doing something that challenges you. This will vary from person to person, so tailor the challenge however you like. It should be tough, but doable. However, you choose to do it, you’ll be helping to support Charis.
You can decide how to split your 150k in the month, whether you choose to walk 5k each day or longer walks on weekends, the challenge is yours to personalise.
What we do suggest though is that you share photos and videos of your walks on your fundraising page and social media. Don't forget to use #150INJUNE - we’d love to see your pics!
